Training with Summer Staff at Camp Sonshine

Lincoln and Nick recently trained about 15 youth interns who were chosen from all over the globe to serve at Camp Sonshine.

Camp Sonshine is a non-profit, Christian summer camp and conference center located just south of Lincoln, Nebraska. The camp offers day and overnight programs that give kids a safe place to experience personal growth, make new friends, and overcome challenges. They offer a unique environment for families to experience the love of God through innovative programs, fun activities, and genuine relationships with committed and loving, Christian role models.

Through SUTL, these new interns experienced a great 'crash-course' in sharing a more biblically-accurate Gospel to the youth who will be attending the camp over the Summer of 2024 through Step Up To Life's unique training focused on 'saying what Jesus said,' about what it means to come to saving-faith. With this new emphasis on what it really means to come to 'saving-faith,' these interns are now equipped to share the Gospel with greater clarity to replace temporary 'decisions' about Christ with 'lasting conversions' to Christ!  

We anticipate more training to follow and are excited about our growing partnership with this excellent ministry!
