Brazil Champion Established
January 2024
We have a new wonderful couple who are our Champions in Maceio, Brazil! Fabio and Ericka Menezes are a wonderful, gifted and Godly couple who are leading the charge for SUTL Brazil! They hosted two SUTL Training Seminars with over 170 pastors and leaders attending! What a welcomed addition to our international Champions!
SUTL IN GUATEMALA - CUBA
November 2023
Lincoln recently traveled to Guatemala to raises up new SULT Champions for that nation and conduct a SUTL Seminar, team teaching with Geovani, our Champion for that nation.
From there he traveled to Cuba to work with our Champions there, leading two more seminars, one in the city of Camaguey and one in a rural setting where attendees sat on stumps for six hours...and didn't complain a bit! Amazing people.
All in all, it was a wonderful trip! Lincoln will head to Brazil in January to raise up a brand new Champion for that nation, then in February, to Sri Lanka, just south of India where 10 leaders from nine Asian countries will gather for four intense days of SUTL training. They'll then head back to their nations to preach, teach, share and translate (where needed) SUTL teaching leaders who will teach other leaders! Asia, here we come!
SUTL IN COLUMBIA
May 2023
Lincoln recently traveled to Colombia to meet with leaders from a number of Latin American countries.
It was a great time of connecting and relationship building. He taught a seminar with leaders from six different nations in attendance!
He received invitations to four nations where SUTL has not yet been established but where there is a real openness. Our partnership with Christ For The City is fantastic and we so appreciate the open doors they have given us to work with their already established bases of ministry!
SUTL IN CUBA
April 2023
Lincoln visited south to Cuba to work with a leader that he met four years earlier there.
Eduardo Leyva is a pastor and teaches leadership and evangelism for a number of years. He works with Action Cuba, a partnering ministry of Step Up To Life. This was Lincoln's third time in Cuba with previous trips in '18 and 19. He had several days to fully train Eduardo in what it means to be a SUTL Champion and take him through all our materials and our seminar. Eduardo is excited to start teaching and training pastors, ministry leaders and Cuban followers of Jesus in the message and method of SUTL. We are blessed and thrilled to have him as our newest international Champion!
SUTL IN AFRICA
November 2022
Lincoln, along with SUTL's new Assistant Director Nick Bank, traveled to Nairobi, Kenya where they met with the SUTL Champions from all over Africa!
TRIP UPDATE
There were ten nations represented by the eleven in attendance! A Champion is a "Rep" so to speak...one who has been trained to represent our ministry and teach/preach/train others in the message and method of SUTL. Most have translated the booklet into their own primary languages and some secondary languages as well.
They met at a beautiful Christian retreat center just outside of Nairobi. Their days were filled with sharing, updates, prayer, fellowship and of course, further training in SUTL.
Lincoln and Nick brought over a number of helpful resources for the Champions and they were thrilled to receive them. They are SO grateful. Some of them live in dangerous setting with radical opposition religious groups and political groups. Just this year, one of their churches was burned down and they had to flee to the jungle for a while for safety.
The last day, Friday, was a very special day of encouragement, blessing and commissioning them all. It was a moving time when God touched hearts in a powerful way. One Champion summed it up by saying, "This was a LIFE-CHANGING week!" We thank the Lord for that and also that not one of them was sick or got sick during the whole week including travel.
If you prayed or supported this financially, we say thank you but more importantly we want you to hear a loud "THANK YOU" from the Champions. They were empowered and encouraged by you!
Lift them up as the Lord leads you in the days ahead. Thank you again for being part of this global ministry with us and them!
