SUTL IN THE BAHAMAS

Ah, the Caribbean! Just that word conjures up sunshine, beaches, resorts, cruise ships and luxury. Our Executive Director, Lincoln Murdoch, recently returned from Abaco, an island in the Bahamas. The trip wasn’t what he expected! Amidst some beautiful water was poverty, the devastation of Hurricane Dorian, and Haitian refugee camps. Not typically what comes to mind when they hear about paradise!
Lincoln also found eager followers of Jesus, leaders and pastors hungry for Step Up To Life training and resources. Over 50 people attended our SUTL Seminar! Represented were four churches and three different denominations, a highly unusual show of unity since the seminar was at one of the denomination's churches.
Lincoln’s been invited back to do more training in different areas. In the meantime, join us in rejoicing for SUTL's advance into the Caribbean and for the open hearts and wonderful people! Here are a few pictures from the training.
