We help you feel confident
sharing the Gospel

using a tested and trusted five-step process.

Reasons you might be reluctant to tell people about Jesus:

  • You don’t know how to start the conversation.

  • You don’t actually know what the other person believes.

  • You believe telling people about Jesus is work for pastors and missionaries.

  • You don’t want the social stigma of being perceived as disrespectful or judgemental.

  • You don’t feel like you have the right answers.

  • You feel unprepared to navigate the conversation between telling them what you believe and inviting them to ask Jesus to forgive their sins.

  • You’re afraid of rejection and confrontation.

Step Up to Life

helps followers of Jesus overcome all these common Gospel-sharing barriers and feel confident talking about their faith.

Reluctant to share your faith?

At Step Up to Life, we make talking about salvation comfortable through five easy questions that let anyone anywhere identify where they’re at spiritually. Our method is relational, not confrontational, and has been used over 15 million times around the world.

Brian Conklin | Vice President, Fellowship of Christian Athletes

“Step Up to Life training was tremendously impactful for our staff! It’s a framework that helps you know where a person is in their thinking towards Christ and gives you great confidence on how to encourage them how to take another step toward Him. It also offers great insight into not coaxing a person to move toward saving faith prematurely.”

In February 1957, Pastor Elmer Murdoch preached a sermon entitled, “Steps Leading to Salvation” and distributed the notes to his congregation.

This sermon became the seed for all Step Up to Life ministries.

Since it’s original publication in 1971, the Step Up to Life booklet has been translated into over 80 languages and audience versions. It’s also been printed more than 15 million times and distributed in 75 countries on 4 continents.
